Digital Learning Workshop
Course Outline
Introduction
Welcome to the Digital Learning Workshop! The goal of this course is to help teachers acquire the tools necessary to confidently deliver lessons both synchronously and asynchronously through a variety of blended learning formats, including the use of self-paced lessons. Additionally, I want to help my colleagues more effectively incorporate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) learning strategies into their lessons, which will help them engage their virtual students as well as their face-to-face (f2f) students.
Each module is designed to be an independent study of various digital learning tools. The pre-course survey you will take will help me determine the strengths and needs of our campus and guide the professional learning for future modules. The primary goal of each module is for you to create digitized materials for you to use in your own classroom. As you work through each module, you will utilize your own subject materials so you can use them immediately or in the near future.
We will have a web conference via Google Meets on May 31, 2021 at 2:00pm CST to introduce the modules. If you have questions about any of the materials provided in the modules, please email me by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
